Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Clarksville on Friday evening.

It happened at intersection of Tiny Town and Needmore roads just after 6:30 p.m.

The victim, 25-year-old Edward Holt, of Clarksville, was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

He was listed in critical but stable condition Saturday morning.

Police said the driver of the car who hit Holt, a 41-year-old Clarksville woman, was in the right of way and will not face charges.
