NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

McDonald's restaurants in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky are offering 79 cent cheeseburgers on Monday to help with recent flood repairs at the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville.

Due to extremely cold temperatures on January 7, a pipe burst and flooded the Ronald McDonald House, causing more than $100,000 in damages.

The non-profit organization, located on Fairfax Avenue, provides low income housing for families of critically ill children receiving care at Nashville-area hospitals.

An entire wing of the 32-room home was destroyed, forcing 17 families with critically ill children to find alternative places to stay.

All cheeseburger sales from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday will help aid in the non-profit organization's recovery.

Monetary donations can be made online or can also be mailed to 2144 Fairfax Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37212.

"2014 Flood Recovery" should be written in the check's memo.
