CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A tractor trailer overturned in Clarksville Wednesday morning, spilling soybeans all over the roadway.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Tiny Town and Peachers Mill roads.

Clarksville police said the driver of the truck, 69-year-old Richard Warren, was attempting to turn onto Peachers Mill Road when his load shifted, causing the cargo trailer to roll and spill, and the truck to rollover.

Several people in the area witnessed the crash and rushed to Warren's aid.

He was transported to Gateway Medical Center with minor injuries and has since been released.

Traffic in the area was slow during cleanup.  The intersection didn't reopen until about 5:30 p.m.

Warren was cited for not using reasonable care.
