FRANKLIN, Ky. (AP) - A police pursuit in southern Kentucky has ended with a woman's death on Interstate 65 in Warren County.

Franklin Police Chief Todd Holder told The Daily News officers began pursuing the woman at about 11:30 a.m. CDT Friday while looking for a burglary suspect. The chase proceeded through Franklin at about 60 mph before heading onto I-65.

The pursuit reached speeds of 90 mph on the interstate before police called off the chase.
