Titans Ken Whisenhunt wants team identity to be toughness

Two days after taking over as head coach of the Tennessee Titans, new head coach Ken Whisenhunt is already very busy.

Hiring a staff as fast as possible is among his primary concerns and he won't start evaluating players until after the Senior Bowl on January 25.

News 2 sat down with Whisenhunt Thursday and he said he wants the Titans team identity to be "toughness."

Also asked if he had a chance to look at the current roster Whisenhunt said that he hadn't really looked at it in depth, but that Jurrell Casey was a guy who jumped out at him and made an impression.

When it came to the quarterback situation and Jake Locker, Whisenhunt said he was excited to work with Jake and see what he has to offer.
