An arctic front will push through Middle Tennessee Tuesday night first bringing rain showers before some snow flurries. The winter precipitation will mainly be on the Cumberland Plateau where a few spots could get a dusting up to a half inch overnight. By daybreak Wednesday, temperatures tumble to the upper 20s. High temperatures will only reach the mid-30s with a stiff northwesterly breeze. Snow flurries are possible from time to time throughout Middle Tennessee Wednesday; however precipitation should not be heavy enough to result in more major accumulations. Snow showers are a possibility on Thursday morning. A second arctic front will sweep across the Mid-State Thursday night into Friday morning, bringing another chance for snow showers.
