Woman accused of selling crystal meth from inside home

A woman who was placed on probation last November on two felony methamphetamine convictions has been arrested again in Nashville.

Shawn McClanahan, 32, is free on $50,000 bond after she was arrested Wednesday on new felon drug charges.

Police reported they received information in December that McClanahan was selling crystal meth and marijuana out of her residence.

Last Wednesday, undercover narcotics detectives conducted surveillance on her home and witnessed a vehicle leave.

The car was stopped shortly after on a traffic violation and the driver of the vehicle, a male, had three grams of marijuana oil, known as "wax," in his possession.

The man reported he purchased the substance from McClanahan and that he had seen one ounce of crystal meth there a week prior.

A search of the home then led detectives to seize 55 grams of crystal meth, 15 grams of marijuana, $1,506 in cash, digital scales, various packaging materials, hypodermic needles and smoking pipes.

McClanahan is due in court January 30.
