NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A teenager is behind bars after he allegedly set two fires at Hillwood High School on Friday.

Bryan Gonzalez, 18, is accused of setting the fires inside men's restrooms at the west Nashville high school on Hickory Valley Road.

The fires were successfully put out by officials, but the building sustained minor damage.

According to authorities, Gonzalez ultimately admitted he started the blazes.

Police stated there were 1,200 students and 100 staff members inside the school at the time.

He remains in jail on a $100,000 bond.
