Nashville couple arrested on felony weapon, drug charges

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

An east Nashville couple was arrested Thursday on a variety of felony weapon and drug charges.

Police reported an investigation found William Rose, 26, and Ashley Thomas, 20, were distributing guns and drugs out of a home in the 1000 block of Luton Street.

Rose and Thomas were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at the residence.

Police seized nine firearms, ammunition, and a number of drugs, including oxycodone, Roxicodone, Xanax, Suboxone strips, crystal methamphetamine, and marijuana.

One of the guns also field tested positive for being fully automatic.

Items consistent with the distribution of illegal substances were also recovered, such as digital scales, packaging material, four cell phones and electronic equipment, including laptop computers.

Rose faces eight charges related to the possession of controlled substances and firearms.  He is being held in lieu of $75,500 bond.

Thomas faces four charges, also relating to possession of controlled substances and firearms.  She is being held on $25,000 bond.
