Problems remain after cold temperatures move out of Middle Tenn.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The cold snap is behind us in Middle Tennessee now, but the problems it caused still exist.

Area plumbers are covered up with calls from homeowners who have broken pipes.

The problem now is finding the parts to fix them.

"Every supply house I know is out of everything, so you'll be lucky to find anything this week," said maintenance worker Ruben Reynolds.

Friday, he came to Cumberland Hardware Company in east Nashville in search of plumbing supplies.

Some of the parts Reynolds needed were in stock, others were not.

"Everywhere I go I can't find the supplies to work with," said Reynolds.

Owner John Varallo says plumbing supplies are in high demand due to this week's freezing temperatures which caused people's pipes to burst.

"We ran out of copper pipe and everything just about for plumbing. We got more in yesterday and most of it is already gone," said Varallo.

Varallo is running low on other cold weather items too.

He only has a couple of heaters left.

Earlier this week Cumberland Hardware was out of faucet covers but now has plenty in supply.
