OAK GROVE, Ky. -

An armored truck driver from Clarksville is dead following a crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 24 in Kentucky.

It happened in the eastbound lanes of I-24 in Oak Grove, just before 3 p.m.

For reasons unknown, Andrew Arnold's truck veered off the interstate and overturned several times as he attempted to re-enter the highway.

The vehicle came to rest upright in the median.

Arnold, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene.  An autopsy later he revealed he died of a medical condition and not as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

His passenger, Robert Damer, 38 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee in Cheatham County, was injured in the crash and taken Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

An update on his condition wasn't immediately released.
