Predators fall in overtime in Boston 3-2

BOSTON, Mass. -

The Nashville Predators out shot the Boston Bruins but did not outscore them falling in Boston Thursday night 3-2 in overtime.

The Preds out shot Boston 35-25 in the game, but the Bruins made the most of their opportunities scoring twice in the third period and finally in overtime.

Brad Marchand scored the game winner just 54 seconds into the extra period.

Viktor Stalberg and Shea Weber both scored for Nashville, who lost for the first time in three games, but did pick up a point in the standings.
