HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. -

One person was killed in a three-vehicle crash caused by a wrong-way driver in Hopkinsville, Kentucky Monday night.

Hopkinsville police spokesperson Paul Ray said Jessica Tucker was traveling east in the westbound lanes of the Eagle Way Bypass when she collided with two other vehicles around 9:20 p.m.

A passenger in Tucker's car, 28-year-old Brandon Toliver, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tucker and the drivers of the others two vehicles suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Responding officers reported Tucker, 33, smelled of alcohol and later admitted to having two margaritas at a nearby Mexican restaurant before getting behind the wheel.

She was taken into custody on charges of murder, two counts of assault and DUI.
