NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man is facing burglary charges for stealing two cases of beer and a bag of potato chips, among other items, from an east Nashville restaurant early Monday morning.

Authorities found a broken window along with blood on the floor, cash register and on one of the bar's coolers at Charlie Bob's Restaurant located at 1330 Dickerson Pike.

Police stated Wendell Hood, 50, was already suspected for multiple break-ins in the area, so they visited Hood at his home.

Inside, they found fresh blood on the floor and a case of beer on the couch.

After reviewing surveillance video from inside Charlie Bob's, Hood was identified as the burglar.

He stole two cases of beer, a CD player, some Charlie Bob's t-shirts and a bag of potato chips.

Hood was charged with burglary and placed in jail on $15,000 bond.
