NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A woman was arrested Sunday in Madison after an argument over the Tennessee Titans game became violent.

Police were called the 600 block of Bixler Avenue after receiving a call from a man who stated 50-year-old Elaine Bass had threatened him with a gun.

During the 911 call, dispatchers overheard the man saying, "Don't point that gun at me."

Once police arrived to the home, officers saw a black revolver in plain sight on a shelf in the bedroom's closet.

Bass reportedly admitted to arguing with the victim over the Titans game against the Houston Texans, and told police she "popped him in the chest" but that they were "just playing."

Police added Bass said she never pointed a gun at the man, but that she was a convicted felon and was not supposed to be around firearms.

She was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.  Her bond was set at $55,000.
