Nashville Cat Club hosts 3rd annual cat show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Nashville Cat Club is holding its third annual Cat Show at the Sheraton Music City Hotel on McGavock Pike this weekend. 

The Cat Fanciers Association's event brings exhibits, spectators and vendors from around the world.

The main event judges over 200 cats.

"It's all about composition, the muscle, skeletal, the head shape, the coat, the length of their bodies, the size and so on. We're trying get the best of the breeds," said Hal Harper, President, Nashville Cat Club.

The show will continue Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children.
