It's a holiday photo a Louisiana man will likely remember for a long time.

Brandon Touchet, 35, happened to be wearing an elf costume when he was pulled over for speeding by police officers in Lafayette, LA on Dec. 15.

The costume was similar to the one worn by actor-comedian Will Ferrell in the holiday movie "Elf".

Officers initially spotted Touchet driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. But after they pulled him over, officers say there was a strong smell of alcohol coming from Touchet's breath as he spoke.

Officers say his eyes were bloodshot, his speech was slurred and he was swaying from side to side in his elf costume as he stood before them. Touchet's blood alcohol level registered .124, according to police who say he admitted to drinking alcohol and speeding.

Touchet was still wearing the elf costume when he was booked into jail on charges of speeding and DUI.
