Man caught on camera stealing from Hermitage church
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A man burglarized the Hermitage Church of the Nazarene on Monday morning, and the incident was caught on tape.
Police stated the man didn't notice the concealed surveillance camera inside the building located on Saundersville Road.
The camera captured images of the suspect as he rummaged through the office looking for things to steal.
He eventually left with cash, a camera and two laptops.
Hermitage police said they also investigating whether the same man is responsible for a burglary that took place between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning at Tulip Grove Baptist Church on Shute Lane.
The burglar of the Tulip Grove Baptist Church stole two-way radios and a flashlight.
An attempted burglary also occurred during the same time period at the at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens on Shute Lane.
