TUPELO, Miss., Dec. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pre-registrations for attendance for the upcoming Tupelo Furniture Market, one of the larger business-to-business furniture trade events held in the United States twice each year, has increased substantially. In fact, as of December 17, registrations for the event are up 63%, with roughly 400 buyers from retail operations throughout the U.S. and other countries registering each day. According to Kevin J. Seddon, president of the company, close to 10,000 have registered for the event which will take place February 6-9, 2014.
"We are extremely satisfied with the results of our marketing efforts thus far," said Seddon. "If the current registration trend continues, we should have close to 20,000 pre-registered for the event before the end of January. Not every retailer that pre-registers will attend, so our focus now is two-fold. First, continue to market to those that have not yet registered. Second, "re-market" to those that have already committed and keep them informed about new companies, products and programs that will be made available to them only if they show up in February!"
Clearly there is no shortage of opportunity for furniture, home accessory and decor retailers that ultimately attend the Tupelo event. Seddon indicated that more than 100 companies will offer special deals for those that order products on-site in February. A record 105 provided special offers to attendees at the last Tupelo Furniture Market.
Seddon also explained that new seminar programs will be available at no cost for those that participate in the Tupelo Furniture Market's "Lunch & Learn" Sessions. Finally, for those that are "cost-conscious", there are $40 hotel room rates available while they last, free shuttle service for retailers attending from up to 100 miles away.
