NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police Monday afternoon charged an 18-year-old Hillwood High School student with last Tuesday's Twitter posting of a bomb threat at the school.

Another student saw the tweet and alerted Hillwood administrators, who notified police.

The investigation led to the identification of Aaron Lampert.

Lampert subsequently admitted to officers that he was responsible for the tweet.

Lampert was charged with filing a false report and booked into the Metro jail on $2,000 bond.

He has been suspended from Hillwood High School and Metro Nashville Public Schools.
