A masked gunman robbed multiple people before shooting one man in the leg outside of a Nashville bar late Sunday night.
The suspect approached the first victim in the parking lot Purple Heys, located at 1401 4th Avenue South, around 11 p.m.
The victim, a 40-year-old male, reportedly started running when the armed man demanded money. The suspect then fired one shot, striking the victim in the leg.
He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The masked gunman then approached a second victim from the passenger's side of his car.
The suspect grabbed his shirt, pointed a gun in his face and demanded money. The victim began taking money from his wallet when the suspect grabbed the whole thing and fled.
Police brought K9 to the scene and searched the area. Evidence was collected, but the suspect remains at large.
He is described as a black male around five feet, two inches tall, weighing between 145 and 150 pounds carrying a small semi-automatic handgun. He was wearing a dark mask, possibly a stocking cap with eye holes, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and tennis shoes.
