A tractor-trailer jack-knifed on Interstate 24 in Davidson County Saturday evening, causing fuel to spill across the roadway.
It happened just before 10 p.m. on I-24 east at mile marker 52, near the I-40 interchange.
Officials reported the fuel tank ruptured, causing diesel fuel to spill into the road.
Two lanes of traffic were closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
No other details were immediately released.
