Man wanted for identity theft after using stolen credit cards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security's Identity Crimes Unit is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect possibly connected to an identity theft case. 

The unknown suspect used stolen credit card information and made four purchases on Monday in the Nashville area.

The suspect purchased an Apple iPad at the Best Buy store in the Nashville West Shopping Center at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday.

The suspect then bought another iPad and two iPad minis at the Walmart Supercenter on Charlotte Avenue at just before 10 p.m.    

Surveillance video appears to have captured the suspect wearing a black and white striped sweatshirt, dark blue pants, white and blue tennis shoes and a gray and red baseball cap.

He looks to be approximately five feet, ten inches to six feet in height and weighs about 160 to 180 pounds.
