Potentially damaging winds continue with a squall line that won't exit the Cumberland Plateau until 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Although the severe weather threat is over in Nashville, occasionally heavy rain is still expected through Sunday morning.
The squall line knocked down numerous trees and power lines as it crossed Middle Tennessee on Saturday evening, prompting several hours of continuous coverage from the News 2 weather team.
Much colder weather is expected to work into the area by Sunday night and Monday. The chilly pattern will persist through the Christmas holiday.
