Vanderbilt holds 38-33 edge over Georgia Tech

The Vanderbilt Commodores have one more game to play before they can officially take in the holidays. The Dores face ACC foe Georgia Tech at home Saturday.

The two teams are both coming off back-to-back wins but in very different fashions. The Dores won their second straight two-point decision Tuesday night in a 58-56 victory over Austin Peay.

The Yellow Jackets, on the other hand, are riding the momentum of consecutive blowout victories.

"We haven't been playing as well as we would like to play," says Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings."We've been able to win, which is a good sign, but we would just like to play better and maybe head into break with a little momentum."

Saturday's game will be the 72nd meeting between the two teams. Vanderbilt holds a 38-33 edge in the series.
