NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Police in Berry Hill are looking for a man who used his SUV to break into a Subway restaurant early Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the sandwich shop on Thompson Lane across from 100 Oaks shopping center around 2 a.m.

According to police, surveillance video showed a man attempting to break through the glass doors of the business with a flower pot.  When that didn't work, he got into his SUV and drove into the doors, breaking the glass.

Once inside, the suspect attempted to open the cash register, but was unsuccessful. He grabbed a laptop instead, and took off.

Berry Hill police hope to clean up the surveillance video to provide a better picture of the suspect and his vehicle for public release.

Repairs to the damaged store front are already underway.
