A man reportedly threatened to kill a police officer after he was arrested and charged with drunk driving early Monday in Montgomery County.
David Fonger, 38, of Woodlawn, was pulled over after he allegedly sped past and almost struck a police cruiser at 12:45 a.m.
Police stated he smelled strongly of alcohol and failed two field sobriety tests.
Once in custody, authorities said Fonger became belligerent and threatened to kill the arresting officer.
His blood alcohol content registered at .223.
Fonger is charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence in an aggravating circumstance, and third degree terroristic threatening.
