Over 2,000 runners and walkers braved the cold December weather for a good cause Friday night.
Runners laced up for the 33rd Annual Rudolph Red Nose Run, which kicked off at LP Field in downtown Nashville at 7 p.m.
The event benefits NeedLink Nashville, a non-profit agency that helps families at risk of being without housing during times of financial crisis.
The organization provides nearly 4,000 families with utilities and rent assistance each year.
