For more than a decade, radio station Q108 has set up shop outside Toys "R" Us in Clarksville to help make Christmas extra special for hundreds of kids in need.
The morning drive team hopes to help more than 500 children from the Clarksville area by partnering with multiple organizations.
Q108 DJ Gretchen Cordy says the event is dear to her heart.
"Over the years the donations have grown, but so has the need," she told Nashville's News 2.
Just over an hour into the toy drive Friday, a shopping basket had been filled with gifts and hundreds of dollars had been collected.
To help, bring by an unwrapped gift for a child under the age of 18 to the Toys "R" Us off Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. Monetary donations are also being accepted.
The toy drive will run until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday.
