Student robbed at knifepoint on Austin Peay campus

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

An Austin Peay State University student reported being robbed at knifepoint Thursday morning.

The victim told police he was getting into his vehicle at the Castle Heights North parking lot around 9:15 a.m. when he was grabbed on the shoulder by a man wearing a ski mask.

The college student was not injured in the incident. It is unclear if the man got away with any of the victim's belongings.

The suspect was last seen fleeing towards West Avenue.

The suspect is around six feet tall and 250 pounds. He was wearing a long sleeve black shirt and black pants at the time of the crime.

Campus police are investigating.
