Williamson County District Attorney Kim Helper has filed a motion to revoke Randy Maidens' bond following his arrest earlier this week in Nashville for public intoxication.
Maidens is charged with murdering his wife, Dr. Rachael Maidens, at the couple's Brentwood home last spring.
Maidens was out of jail on bond when he was arrested early Tuesday morning for knocking on residents' doors at the apartment complex where he lives in Bellevue.
A neighbor told News 2 he identified himself as a police officer.
Officers found Maidens hiding behind a building in a dark corner wearing clothing dirtied from wandering through a wooded area nearby.
Maidens had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.
He was taken to jail and booked on the public intoxication charge. The charge was later dismissed, common for first offense public intoxication charges.
Maidens is scheduled to go on trial for his wife's murder next September.
Rachael Maidens, an orthodontist in Brentwood, was found shot to death on the evening of April 21, 2013 inside the couple's Governors Club home.
