Music City beats the Big Apple as Predators beat Rangers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Nashville Predators found some offense and found a way to win beating the Rangers 4-1 Tuesday night in New York.

The win ends a five game losing streak for Nashville. The Predators have now scored four goals in their last four victories.

Nashville jumped out to a two goal lead in the first period getting goals from Nick Spaling, his fifth, and Richard Clune, his first of the year.

The Rangers cut the lead to 2-1, but in the third period Matt Hendricks gave the Predators a big two goal lead with his second of the year. Paul Gaustad scored an empty netter for the final margin.

The Preds are 13-13-4 after the win and host the Dallas Stars Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena.
