Man, 64, arrested for attacking neighbor

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 64-year-old man who was wanted by authorities for allegedly critically injuring his neighbor during an attack Friday has been taken into police custody.

Police reported Don Fisher Sr. struck the 47-year-old victim during an argument in the 2400 block of Clarksville Pike before continuing to attack the man.

The victim sustained severe lacerations to his neck and abdomen. He remains hospitalized at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Fisher was arrested Tuesday at the Greyhound Bus Station in Nashville.

Fisher, who has a previous assault conviction, is charged with attempted criminal homicide and is being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
