Several rooms engulfed by flames at vacant inn

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A fire broke out at a vacant inn in northeast Nashville early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters arrived to flames shooting through the roof of the Trinity Inn Efficiencies located at 1801 Dickerson Pike around 1:30 a.m.

Officials told News 2 the fire began in the back of the building on the first floor, engulfing several rooms.

No one was inside at the time.  The cause has yet to be determined.

The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate.

Dickerson Road was closed as crews worked to put out the flames.
