Preds host celebrity bowling tournament for cancer research

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Nashville Predators are hosting their second annual "Preds & Pins Celebrity Bowling Tournament" Monday night.

The event, which benefits the Nashville Predators Pediatric Cancer Research Fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, will be held at the Hillwood Strike and Spare from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

In addition to bowling, there will be a buffet, refreshments and a silent auction.

Some of the celebrities participating in Monday night's event includes Tennessee Titan Jurrell Casey, musician Lee Greenwood and New 2's Dawn Davenport, among players for the Nashville Predators.

The Nashville Predators have donated more than $700,000 to the Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt over the past five years.
