Authorities in Houston County are continuing to investigate after human remains were discovered in a remote wooded area on Thanksgiving Day. The remains were discovered by a hunter off Highway 231 in Erin, Tennessee, about 75 miles from Nashville the Leaf Chronicle reported. The body, according to Houston County Sheriff Darrell Allison, was extensively decomposed. The remains have not yet been identified.
