Man pepper sprays armored vehicle employee at Walmart store

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man robbed an armored vehicle employee outside of a Nolensville Walmart on Friday.

The employee, who was driving a Loomis armored vehicle, was robbed he exited the business located at 5824 Nolensville Pike with a deposit bag.

The suspect peppered sprayed the employee and took off the deposit bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said his getaway car was an early 2000s silver Pontiac Sunfire.

The suspect is described as a white man with a brown beard, approximately six feet tall and weighing around 210 pounds.  He was wearing a black ball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect from surveillance photos is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
