NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man faces a DUI charge after he was discovered passed out in his vehicle at a Hardee's drive through early Thursday morning.

Police said a restaurant employee called 911 reporting the man, identified as Zachary Liwosz, had been parked at the drive through window for several minutes without moving.

Upon their arrival to the Hardee's on 4099 Nolensville Pike, officers located a sleeping Liwosz in the driver's seat with the vehicle running.

Officers made several attempts to wake him before he exited the vehicle, smelling of marijuana. Police also discovered what appeared to be two glass marijuana pipes inside the uncovered console.

Liwosz, who was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech, was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

A blood test was performed at a local hospital. The results are pending.
