Country superstar Miranda Lambert took to her Web site Monday to slam allegations that she underwent weight loss surgery to achieve her new slimmer figure.
Lambert wrote she lost the pounds the "old fashion way" by watching what she ate and working out with a trainer.
She continued, "As for the assumed number of pounds lost, I don't even know! Like I have always said, it's not about a scale, it's about how you feel and how your jeans fit. I am proud to be a normal size girl and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size."
Lambert, who turned 30 earlier this month, was named Female Vocalist of the Year at the annual CMA Awards held in Nashville on November 6.
