A Hopkinsville woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly assaulted another woman three times in one day.

According to the Kentucky New Era, Ashley Bryant, 25, is accused of committing the assaults last Saturday.

Officials stated Bryant used an aluminum can filled with carrots in one of the assaults.

The victim, a 36-year-old woman, suffered cuts, bruises, hair torn from her scalp and a concussion.  She was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Bryant's roommate reportedly had to pull her off of the victim in all three assaults.

She was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree minor assault.
