U.S. Marshals arrest couple involved in crime spree

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A couple wanted for burglaries and other crimes in the Nashville area and surrounding counties was arrested on Tuesday.

Joseph Chadwick and Jacklyn Condra were taken into custody in the area of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike in west Nashville around Noon at a Jack-in-the-Box restaurant.

U.S. Marshals began searching the west Nashville area for the pair after they received information the 39-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were in the area.

At the time of their arrest, authorities reported both Chadwick and Condra were actively using drugs.

Upon becoming aware of law enforcement, Chadwick fled on foot and was located hiding under a car at a nearby restaurant.

Chadwick was wanted by Cheatham County authorities for two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of theft over $1,000. He was also wanted in other area counties, including Houston County, for aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and theft.

He is in custody in Metro. Police are also requesting a warrant for two counts of burglary.

Condra was also wanted by authorities in Cheatham County for two counts of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000, as well as the Williamson County Sheriff's Officer for four counts of aggravated burglary and in Houston County for aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.

Condra is in custody at the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
