Metro police are searching for a 39-year-old man accused of brutally attacking his girlfriend inside a Harding Place business earlier this month. The victim reported to police Rashunus Pearsons had been drinking the night of the assault before telling her she should always be at their apartment when he arrived home. As the woman left to go to work, Pearsons allegedly followed her before grabbing and choking her. The victim managed to break free from Pearsons and ran inside a nearby business where she says he followed her again and threw her to the floor before punching and kicking her in the face. Pearsons fled the scene on foot. Anyone with information on Pearsons' whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
