Titans sign new kick returner, bring back Kevin Matthews

With Darius Reynaud released and Damian Williams injured the Titans elevated wide receiver Devon Wylie from their practice squad to hand kick return duties Thursday night against Indianapolis.

Wylie (5-9, 187) was a fourth ranked pick in 2012 by Kansas City.  He had six receptions in six games for the Chiefs and also returned two punts and eleven kicks.

The Titans also signed center Kevin Matthews.  He's the son of offensive line coach Bruce Matthews and has spent three seasons with the Titans organization splitting time between the active roster and the practice squad.  He's played 17 games for the Titans in his career.

Jake Locker was officially placed on injured reserve and offensive lineman Pat McQuistan was released to create room on the roster for the additions.
