Clarksville road closed after unknown liquid found during traffic stop

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A Clarksville road was closed for hours overnight after drugs and an unknown liquid were found during a routine traffic stop.

HAZMAT crews were called to Dover Road just after 10 p.m. Thursday after the liquid was found.

Crews said the bottle contained muriatic acid, which is used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Tamera Dennis was charged with two drug violations and the promotion of methamphetamine manufacturing among others.

Police also found about a gram of methamphetamine in the form of powder and paraphernalia including digital scales, cut straws, and apple bags.
