Titans Center Rob Turner out for season

The season is over for Titans center Rob Turner.

Turner was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a shoulder injury; the move came just two weeks after he lost his spot in the starting lineup to rookie Brian Schwenke.

The Titans replaced Turner on the roster with veteran offensive lineman Pat McQuistan.

The (6-6,317) McQuistan has played 72 NFL games with 11 starts over seven seasons. He last played for Arizona last season.

The Buffalo Bills plucked defensive lineman Stefan Charles from the Titans practice squad.

The Titans also waived wide receiver Rashad Ross from the practice squad. Those two spots were filled by offensive lineman Oscar Johnson and defensive lineman Chigbo Anunoby.
