Halloween cancellations, postponements and indoor events

Heavy rain and the potential for severe storms will put a damper on many Middle Tennesseans' Halloween plans. Several communities are postponing sponsored events and/or trick-or-treating.  Questions or comments? Email webstaff@wkrn.com.

TENNESSEE

Cannon County

- Woodbury Nursing Center will hold their Halloween celebration Friday, Nov. 1 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Clay County

Celina
- Residents are asked to move trick-or-treating to Saturday, Nov. 2

Cheatham County

Pleasant View
- Neighborhoods strongly encouraged to move festivities to Friday, Nov. 1
- Halloween on Main Street moved to Friday, Nov. 1

Pegram
- Trick-or-treating has been postponed until Friday, Nov. 1

Davidson County

- Opry Mills Mall: Costume parade at 6:45 p.m.; trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m.
- Green Hills Mall: Trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m.
- Inglewood Library: After school party for kids 10 and under from 3-5 p.m.
- East Nashville's Trick or Treat Lischey Street will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m.
- Antioch Church of Christ's Trunk or Treat cancelled; will not be rescheduled

Dickson County

- Spooks in the Park cancelled; will not be rescheduled

- Governor's Square Mall trick-or-treating will be held Thursday, Oct. 31 from 5-9 p.m.

- Operation Friendly Ghost, trick-or-treating moved to Friday, Nov. 1, 6-8 p.m.

- Trick-or-treating advised to be moved to Saturday, Nov. 2
