Former Belmont star earns roster spot with Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY- Former Belmont standout Ian Clark is officially a member of the Utah Jazz.

Clark survived the final round of personal adjustments and is expected to be on the opening night roster Wednesday night against Oklahoma City.

The Memphis native signed with the Jazz as a free agent in July and played in seven of Utah's eight preseason games.

He averaged 4.5 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.6 steals and played 12.4 minutes per game.

During his senior year at Belmont, Clark averaged over 18 points per game and was named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Player of the year.
