Tennessee gives up 35 points in first half 45-10 loss to Alabama

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

T.J. Yeldon scored on three 1-yard runs and AJ McCarron passed for 275 yards and two touchdowns as #1 Alabama remains undefeated beating Tennessee 45-10.

Head Coach Butch Jones called it the worst 1st half the Vols have played all season that was capped off by Alabama's Landon Collins' 89 yard interception return for a touchdown that had them trailing 35-0 at the break.         

The Volunteers (4-4, 1-3) dropped their seventh straight to Alabama, tying the most consecutive wins for either team.

Coach Butch Jones turned to freshman quarterback Josh Dobbs in the second half burning his redshirt to replace Justin Worley.

Dobbs led the Vols to 10 points in the 45-10 loss.
