Funeral for Titans owner Bud Adams set for Monday

HOUSTON -

The funeral for Tennessee Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams will be held on Monday in Texas.

Adams died of natural causes at his Houston home last Monday.  He was 90 years old.

Visitation for Adams was held on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at George H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home.

His funeral will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church.

Though the future of the Titans remains unknown, it is believed the team's ownership will be passed down to Adams' surviving family members.

Mr. Adams has made it clear he wants the Titans to stay in Nashville and the team's lease at LP Field extends through 2028.

Several Nashville businesses have banners on display in Adams' honor including Tootsies and Honky Tonk Central.
