Woman uninjured after car rolls over in crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A woman was t-boned in west Nashville after police say she failed to stop at a red light early Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred at 1:45 a.m. in the intersection of 23rd Avenue North and Elliston Place, right off of West End Avenue.

Police told News 2 a woman was driving down 23rd Avenue when she reportedly failed to stopped at the blinking red light.

A second vehicle driving down Elliston Place collided into the side of her SUV after passing through a blinking yellow light.

The SUV rolled over onto the driver's side; however, she was not injured.  She was still  transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

The second vehicle traveled into a telephone pole.  The driver was also uninjured.

Police said the woman faces a citation for failure to stop.
